Russell Todd Interview: Horror, Comedy, Modeling, and Where The Camera Ops Are

Posted on August 31, 2023August 31, 2023 By studiochat

Studio Chat is happy to share an interview with Russell Todd, best known for his film roles in “Friday The 13th Part II”, “Where The Boys Are”, and “Chopping Mall”, television roles on “Another World” and “High Mountain Rangers”, and as the Founder of Russell Todd Agency, where he represents Steadicam and many types of Camera Operators in the industry.

Studio Chat Host Chelsea spoke with Russell about his acting career, ranging from horror, drama, and comedy, to daytime television; how his first role in “He Knows You’re Alone” led to becoming an integral part of the “Friday The 13th” franchise; his modeling career and how it brought him to a lead role in “Where The Boys Are”; plus, his early experiences as a young filmmaker followed by his time at Universal Studios Hollywood as a Studio Tour guide. We also discussed Russell’s business as an agent for camera operators, and how he discovered his niche in the industry; his interest in getting back into acting; and his return to modeling for a new project.
